The Showtec Polar series offers professional Beam, Wash, and Hybrid Moving Head fixtures with a powerful output and state-of-the-art features, suitable for outdoor venues. All Polar fixtures are IP65 rated and therefore water and dust resistant, making sure that the show can go on, even on a rainy day. They can be controlled via DMX, Art-Net, RDM, sACN and even wireless DMX (W-DMX) which is perfect for a quick setup in combination with their one-clamp mount. Controlling the units is very easy thanks to user-friendly control buttons. The Polar beam control (X/Y movements) is very quick and precise. Working with Polar fixtures enables you to create unique and high-level optical effects at any outdoor location. Each fixture offers multiple control options, functionalities and effects.

The Showtec Polar Wash 740 is a powerful yet compact and lightweight LED wash moving head with zoom and LED ring effect, suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. Despite its size, its 7 RGBL LEDs of 40 watts each can produce a combined output of over 4000 lumens. With the addition of the lime LED, it achieves a CRI of 85 for its white colours. The Polar Wash 740 creates anything from a vibrant beam of 3.5° to a 44° wash with its motorised zoom. The 7 RGBL LEDs can be controlled in two sections: the centre LED and the outer LEDs. The LED ring around the 7 LEDs can be controlled separately and creates fascinating graphic patterns in selectable colours. You can also index, rotate and bounce these patterns to your own liking.
The Polar Wash 740 has an adjustable PWM, making it suitable for touring and TV applications. Its low noise level of just over 36 dB in silent mode allows for use in noise sensitive applications. The fixture can be controlled via DMX/RDM. It is IP65 rated, allowing for use in the harshest environments. Weighing ±10 kg, it is light and compact.
