Presenting the Xi MKII series, a loudspeaker range for fixed audio installations, redesigned from the Xi installation speakers with significant changes. The major change is the use of a Celestion HF Driver, which enhances the sound performance of the unit substantially. The cabinet and grill have been redesigned as well, to make for a contemporary and elegant look.

Besides the looks and sound quality, the Xi MKII series also excels in installer solutions with versatile installation possibilities: optional U-shape brackets, screw threads for use of flying eyes, and fitting most common wall-mount brackets.

There is no inner adapter applied and a recessed speakon chassis completes the perfect design for an install cabinet. It is finished with a scratch resistant paint and a MagTag metal grill, which can be detached without tools, fast and easy.

The Xi-5MKII and Xi-6MKII are 16 Ohm to accommodate installations with larger quantities. Xi-8MKII and XI-10MKII have rotatable horns which makes the use in both horizontal and vertical position possible. The high-powered subwoofer has an ultra-compact design, so it will fit in every location. With the optional slim-line wall bracket it is possible to mount the subwoofer tightly to a wall.

The Xi MKII series meets today’s standards and is applicable for a wide variety of indoor applications, such as restaurants, cafes, clubs, health centers, theme parks, hospitality areas and anywhere where an outstanding sound quality and a compact high pressure level speaker are required. Xi MKII series cabinets are available in black and white.

The DAP Xi-28 MKII is a compact, lightweight 2x 8-inch subwoofer with a bass-reflex housing to create a powerful and accurate bass reproduction. With a peak power of 1600 watts (400-watt RMS), high sound pressure levels can be created. The Xi-28 is designed to be used in conjunction with the Xi-series top cabinets for a full-bodied full-range sound.

The Xi-28 MKII has a modern design and can be placed flat against the wall by using special brackets. This makes it very suitable for situations where the available space is limited. You can also choose from a black and white model. This makes it suitable for any environment.

The sub can be connected via a recessed 4-pin speaker connector to a 4-Ohm audio infrastructure. Only 2 pins are used in passive filtering due to the internal filter.
